When Cordela was out on one of her wilderness hikes, she had a
chance meeting with a stranger that changed the direction
of her life. The man was a cleric, who served in a temple in a distant city. From him she learned that many deities bestow magic powers on their servants. Cordela envisioned herself righting wrongs and aiding the helpless with the power she might acquire.
